Kokoro Japanese Kitchen

With patrons raving about the food, service and attention to detail, Kokoro Japanese won’t stay a hidden dining gem at Pinelands for long. Created using traditional, fresh recipes, dishes including nan ban chicken, chicken curry, sashimi, ramen, Oyakodon, Tonkatsu and more remain favourites with the regulars due to their authenticity, flavours and portions. Visit Kokoro Japanese for lunch from 11.45am – 2.30pm and dinner from 5.45pm to 8.30pm every day except Wednesday, to experience the real flavours of Japan.

88 Topokki Korean Fusion Restaurant

Experience Korean Fusion tastes in the heart of Sunnybank Hills. Created by authentic Korean chefs, the dishes at 88 Topokki range from traditional Topokki (stir-fried rice cakes) and Hot Pot to exciting new fusions. Forget KFC – this Korean Fried Chicken is a firm local favourite, followed closely by their huge range of hot pots, kimchi pork soup, jajangmyeon (noodle dish with thick sauce, pork and vegetables) and bibimbap (rice dish with various ingredients)! Yuan Bao Taiwanese Restaurant

If you love pork belly, this delectable dish gets taken to a new level of gastronomy at Yuan Bao Taiwanese Cuisine. With rave reviews for this and its other authentic Taiwanese dishes, Yuan Bao prides itself on a chef flown in from Taiwan to create its flavourful, street-style food, described as ‘just like home’ from Taiwanese locals. Other favourite dishes include steamed fish, fried chicken and deep-fried calamari. A new dining favourite is hidden to you no longer, open from 11am to 2pm and 5pm to 9pm every day except Monday.

Yang’s Taiwanese Cuisine/Yang Ma Ma

Consistently busy and extremely popular with those in the know, Yang’s Taiwanese Cuisine specialises in home-style, comfort food. Dishes such as fried bean husk, chicken dumpling or beef noodle soup, fried seafood rice, lu rou fan (braised pork rice) and more, keep bringing the locals back. Yang’s is a great place to visit if you’re looking for an easy and quick meal that exudes Taiwanese flavours. Open from 11am – 2.30pm and 5pm to 8.30pm each day except Tuesdays, make sure you visit Yang’s Taiwanese soon!
